If you really think about it, Python is very much like Java. While Python at times looks simpler than Java, it is just as powerful as Java. That’s exactly is the learning model of this book. This book is for those who are already comfortable with developing using Java programming language and therefore assumes knowledge of Java. Specifically, the book will demonstrate how to perform the same procedures in Java and Python. For each procedure, the class names, method names, and variable names are kept consistent between Java and Python examples.
