If I were highlighting the interesting parts of this book, I would have to mark almost all of it. Each chapter has insightful recommendations and comments on Project Management, and since they are independent, you may read them in any order, getting right to the parts you are interested on. When I bought it, I was part of a team developing a methodology for our company, and I was looking for a good book to get ideas for this effort. I have found this book very helpful. I had some of my coworkers read the first chapter to get a general idea about what we should get with the methodology, and then used some other chapters to decide what to document, what to include on the documents, and so on. It also gave me hints on how to manage risks in an easy way on small projects.A book I think would be a great companion to this one would be "Peopleware", which explains how projects do not fail because of hardware or software management, but because of incorrect people management. The two books complement each other fairly well.
